Anyone know what this is running in the background, and how to kill it?

You may find it at:

[drive letter]:\Program Files\BX New Folder\bxExpHelper.exe

Company unknown, etc.

It may also appear as a (BHO) Browser Helper Object, and not necessarily as a visible toolbar .

For complete removal, you should give us more info about what/when/how you are experiencing problems with it.

Ah, it's an addon that lets me create new folders by pressing F12.
