Ide cd roms - scsi in xp?????

I have recently upgraded my system, im using sata hdd with ide burner and rom drives. the bios picks up the drives as ide great, get into windows and there picked up as scsi they work until i try and burn a cd it then says that the device is being used by something else???? any help ???? cheers
