Hi, I am trying to install a network and ICS on my two PC's one XP Home Edition, one Win 98SE. The network setup wizard will not finish, I get an error. If I try to enable ICS through network connections, I get the error message: "Cannot enable shared access. Error 1060: The specified service does not exist as an installed service".

I really don't understand this message, I have Bt Openworld Broadband installed correctly and it works fine on the host xp machine. Any help much appreciated :)

I assume you are connecting via a modem plugged directly into the host machine.

If that is the case I would save yourself a lot of hassle and get yourself a router. They can be had for less than £50. It will be far more reliable and will save yourself a lot of grief in the future.
