WinXP is the host, and the two clients are debian and win2k. My problem is this, when I use Internet Connection Sharing through the XP machine, ftp and http won't work on the clients.
I can resolve names fine, the gnutella network works sweet. It's just http and ftp.

The internet connection is a usb dynalink modem. Setup as most such modems are, as a simple ppp connection. I've spent a whole day on the problem and can't seem to solve it.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

thanks
