Ok, I've been having problems with ICS for awhile now, so I just gave up and took everyone's advice - I reformatted. Well, that didn't fix it! So now I know it isn't the ICS client's fault...

So, I ran the network wizard on the host PC again, no luck. Everything says its connected, but when I looked at the client's IP, it was 69.x.x.x when it should be 192.168.x.x

So, I'm stuck. I went through the network troubleshooter and nothing seems to work.

Things I've tried: Spyware scan, LSPfix, reformatting, repairing the connection. Please don't suggest these :)

Thanks in advance for any help.

Microsoft ICS is a pain. Use a proxy such as Free Proxy from www.handcraftedsoftware.org instead. There are lots available, this one works for me.
