I am having the following errors with my windows xp professional....I have a network with 2 computers and my guest computer uses ICS (internet connection sharing) for internet use.....my icq on my guest computer was always working fine up to date, but after about 20mins on my icq a "Microsoft C++ runtime error, c:/program files/icq/icq.exe This program will be shutdown". This error just started and I had never had it before I used ICS. I simply deleated my icq and reloaded everything from scratch with my icq, unfortunitly, after I reload everything I still get the same error, There must be a conflict with icq and ICS that I am not aware of, any help is appreciated. -Colin
I think you are the first person to thank themselves on this messsage board. That is to much. Thanks for a good laugh as well as posting the fix. May it help those in need. That is classy though, thanking yourself.
