icons disappearing from system tray

I have icons that disappear from my system tray. When I do a ctr alt del and look for the process running it is there but can no longer be seen in the system tray. The happens quiet a bit, any ideas

Do you have a little arrow button at the left hand side of the System Tray (XP calls it the Notification Area) ??

If so, click it to show hidden icons.

If you want all icons to show, right click the Taskbar, then Properties, then uncheck "Hide Inactive Icons".

Or click the Customize button, and set what you want to hide or not.

Thanks for the help but I already tried that. Icon have completely gone from tray but are still running.

I believe it is dougknox.com and search for taskbar repair. Or did I give this to you earlier?

Itaskbar repair? I'm confused - Isn't this thread about missing icons from the systray?

The icons I am refering to are in the bottom right side of taskbar.
