For some reason every once in a while when I go open the folder my icon view type changes. One day I have my view to icons then the next day they change to a list. I change them back to icon view but the next day they some how change to a list again. Does anyone know how to stop this? Thx

Control Panel, click Tools in Menu bar, Folder Options, View tab, in the Advanced Settings list, find and check mark "Remember each folder's view settings".

Hi I have the same problem also.My veiws change in windows explorer and control panel.My " remember each folder's veiw settings " is already checked!I can deal with it but have allways been curious about it.Thanx
