Hi kevlos,

Rightclick the clock in the SystemTray, and select 'Customize Notifications' from the menu.

Remove their registry entries that cause them to start up on bootup. By messenger I'm assuming you mean the annoying Windows Messenger. If you don't actually use it, go to add/remove programs in the control panel and go to add/remove windows components. Uncheck the Windows messenger box and then click next so that is "unistalls" it. It's not even close to being gone though. Put this into the Run command found on the start menu: RunDLL32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove .Just copy and paste that in and it will remove the stupid program. If you don't know how to get rid of the registry entries yourself, I suggest a program like RegCleaner.

or you can go to : Start > Run > type "msconfig" > click on the Start-up tab and uncheck the things you don't want to start up with windows.... if you don't know what it is ...leave it alone. Click OK and reboot.
