I set my Windows Xp to a modified Windows Classic appearance. When I click an icon the icon text flashes dark blue with black text as I release the mouse button which is hard to read. I'd like it to have White text instead but can't find a setting for that. I've tried all the available selections under Properties -> Appearance -> Advanced w/o luck. Any ideas?

That option has not been available since Win 98. Here is what you can try.

Text colour will change according to the desktop background colour and not the wallpaper, in the advanced settings change desktop background to black and in the effects section, uncheck "show shadows under menus"

Computers in the future may have only 1,000 vacuum tubes and perhapsonly weigh 1 1/2 tons.
