How can you delete icons you no longer use because of uninstalled software?I want to delete them and not just hide them.
if u mean that the icons remane in "add/remove hardware", you need to deleted mention of them in the registry, AFTER backing up the reg 1st

If you mean desktop jut drag to recycle bin. If you mean useless entries in add/remove programs Get power tools for XP use tweak ui this has a removal for those items.
