I installed tweakui 2.00.10, and like a fool did too many tweaks at once. Now My icons and my folders seem to be in the 256 color mode, or maybe even less. I have my settings for the colors at 24 bit, and everything else, pictures included show up alright, and unfortunately, tweakui doesn't have a tab to set everything back to default, or uninstalling it won't help either. Anybody else with this problem, and maybe some hints...Thanx.........

Reply:

try using SYSTEM RESTORE to a date before
applying the TWEAKS

another thing you can do is change the resolution and colour depth after applying the changes again revert back to your original settings;see if it does the trick.

one more thing you can try is right click an
icon, select properties and then click CHANGE ICON select the same icon which will
look different from your present icon due to colour depth ,and then click apply.see if this works.
