i have been having problems installing Windows XP. People have told me to try copying the i386 folder to the c: drive and running winnt.exe to install it. My question is...how do i copy it, and how do i create the i386 directory on the c drive using dos commands???
MD i386 to create a folder named i386 xcopy d:\i386\*.* c:\i386 to copy but why copy to HD when u already have winxp CD with you, just go to i386 folder on the CD, and run winnt.exe. You should download smartdrv.exe and run it before installing
