I want to lock my hard drive so no software or anything can be put on the computer. When I went to school they had a set up that if you downloaded something or saved a file directly to the computer and not your server, after you restarted the computer or shut if of it was gone, How can i have a set up like this?

what you describe at school was a system that was being reimaged at bootup. Ghost server can do this.

You can play with local security policies but you risk locking yourself out of the system.

If you just want to keep people out of your system put in a bios password. This will prevent disk access until the password is supplied.

Try a program called DeepFreeze, search for it on google, it is a program that no matter what is done on the computer, the changes will be gone after a reboot.
