Specs: Windows XP
I always have MSN USA as my homepage. Suddenly I am abroad and my homepage is coming up MSN as the homepage of that country. I have been into in internet options and typed in www.msn.com and click APPLY and OK but everytime I click on the browser it comes up automatically as www.howzitmsn.com which is the South African MSN. Please advise how I can make it stick as just www.msn.com as it always has. Thanks Fi Fi

I'm in the UK and from www.msn.com got the option to go to UK or USA.

I chose USA and got this URL:
http://www.msn.com/?st=1

I pasted it into another browser and it seemed to go straight there.
It might be different from another location but it's worth a try I guess.

I live in Japan and had the same problem. The "normal" URL didn't work for me, but the one Derek posted did. Thank you!

I have tried everything to get my msn back to English, I keep getting .fi even if I put in full address, new window, shut down and reboot. I checked the settings in my hotmail and it shows USA/English

Create a new post as this seems like a different problem. In any event few helpers will look back at this one now as it was started on 10 September 2010.

Please come back and let us know how you got on.
