HELP... the scoll bar in IE 6 is all screwed up on my system!
When I click on the scroll bar itself (not the box contained within) it jumps one and a half to two spaces instead of one. When I try to click and drag it sometimes returns to the bottom.
Anybody know how to fix this pain in the a**??? It's REALLY a headache.

I am no expert, but it does not sound like a problem. You sound like you are mouse dependant. Learning the keyboard is helpful.
Moving the scroll bar also can be done ( and at slower rate) using the UP or DOWN arrow keys on the keyboard.
Sometimes it will not move. So mouse click on a blank portion of your current web page, then use the arrows keys.

Tony ... there have been a number of posts on other boards similar to your complaint (Annoyances.org-XP forum). Seems from the talk that the problem arose concurrent with installing the latest WinXP Critical Update. You might check http://annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp/n1068926253
Hope this is helpful. L

My scroll bar has been like that from day 1 (factory install XPHome/SP1). I just use the scroll wheel on the mouse. That's right, I'm "mouse dependent" also.
