okay I recently installed windows 7 beta on my home built computer and now it has expired. i'm trying to restore the system back to XP and when i put the CD in my drive and boot up it gives me this message:
Starting Windows 95....
Device driver not found ;TOSCD001
No valid CDROM device drivers detectedand then in X's it says
NO CD/NET
A;/>
I don't have any idea whats going on and i can't find anyone who's asked the same question. Help please?

Don't blame the computer, it's your fault. You should have installed the RC, not the beta. The beta expired in August, the RC is good until June 2010. Wipe the drive & start from scratch.

no i don't blame the computer. i should just be smarter =]. but what do i do to wipe the drive? and i'm not sure i've the right diskettes. they read:
Recovery and Applications/Drivers CD
Satelite 1415 series.its from my laptop and i'm worried i'll hae to just buy new sofware because i'm begining to think its just for recovery.

Are you saying you're trying to restore XP on a Desktop computer using Laptop Recovery media?
It ain't gonna work.
You'll have to Purchase XP for your home Built system.
There is nothing to learn from someone who already agrees with you.
