Windows 95, 98, 98SE, 2000, ME, and XP do not use driver for cdroms. In fact sometimes loading a 16 bit driver can cause major issues. All cdroms are handled by the File Management System. Check your dive(s)settings do you have to masters or two slaves. Does your system use the Cable select system. You could also try to go into safe mode - device manager. Remove all the CD Roms. Reboot and see if it will create new Plug and Pray (Plug and Panic is more like it) profiles.
I get yellow question marks on my cdr and cdrw drives.. when i installed clonecd.. now it says that registry entries for my drives are corrupted.. any help?
