Specs: Windows Xp, 1.8 amd turon 2 gig
I'm not able to find the HP drivers for my HP Pavilion Laptop dv2715nr. I have tried HP support page and there is not that many drivers for XP it was built around Vista. I have searched the Web and found some drivers that don't seem to work with manual install or using the setup in the drivers file. Thanks for any help.

There may not be any drivers available. When Vista was released Microsoft pushed OEM vendors to only configure with Vista.

HD sound and Wireless drivers are the most problematic. What drivers are you in need of?

Below are three links that may be of help. The third one is for the latest graphic drivers for your laptop is using WinXP 32 bit.

I need the two drivers you named the most.the sound and wireless driver, if I can't find those driver. I'm not going to worry about the rest and look into to doing something else.

Also, just to know if I can't get the drivers for XP. Would a OEM version of Windows 7 have a generic drivers for my laptop if I decide to spend some money?

I tried the drivers on the HP support page. I didn't have any luck. The drivers will not install manually or by a set up file. The nvidia driver does work, so thanks for the graphic driver. If only I could connect to the net.

It does have compatibility mode but, some programs still don't work such as Nero 6.

Plus there was a virus on it on the os. I could not get recovery mode to work. So, I made the mistake of wiping the hard drive before I checked HP support drivers page.
