Hi I have a older computer, it is the dell dimension 2400. I had a computer guy come out a while back and f disk it then reinstall xp for me. He split my hard drive in 2. He said that I can switch back and forth between the 2 partitions. How do I do that?? If someone can please tell me step by step that would be wonderful.

Hard Disk Drives---local c, local d, local e
Devices with Removable Storage --- CD drive (f) , CD-RW drive (g)

It appears you have three partitions.
Go to c:
do you see a windows folder?
Go to d:
do you see a windows folder?
Go to e:
do you see a windows folder?Did the tech say anything about multibooting?
What folders are on d: and e:?

Im sure he did but cant remember, it was a while ago.
When I double click on my Cdrive icon the normal folders and things appear--Dell , Document and Settings, Program Files, Mav folder and so on.
When I click on D drive there are 3 folders
folder #1 5cc77f2a807a287de77aa0c75dd
folder #2 bee5eb93ebofff044efa33c5d
folder # 3b0a75ee94214a7b594Local E drive just has one folder and that says---MY PICTURES
