no such animal. I looked my self. The maker which I believe sold out to someone else said they would not support w2k/xp. That's been 2-3 months ago. If I find something I'll drop you a line.

You could try experimenting with the drivers on http://www.hauppauge.com

I beleive their WinTV (PCI) cards are BT878 based.

Course, the audio might be an issue depending on what audio processors they use versus what you have.

I currently have an Avermedia TV card, I believe the chipset is BT878. AT www.avermedia.com they have the drivers for 95,98, and 2000. The 2000 drivers work fine under XP except they are beta. Hopefully avermedia will update their driver for more specifically to work with XP. Hope this helps.

I found drivers for xp. The Device manager gets em all in place and named, however i can't get a decent software to make it actually work. The software gets me to 100% processor usage, and responds each 30 secs.
Anyway if u need help just shoot me a mail.

I installed WinXP.zip from "http://drivers.aver.com/" with these results:

* Avermedia player works
* Windows Media Encoder works
* Windows Movie Maker doesn't work
* VirtualDub only sees only noise

so there is partial success.

I think it's hopeless... It's time to get a new TV Card guys. Even some of the Pinnacles capture cards products don't work on XP!

Good luck

Yes!!! I've found a fix for the TV tuner problem and Windows XP.
Most companies don't have XP drivers for their TV tuner cards. The cards I'm talking about are made by telsignal and are sold under many names. They usually have a sticker on the back of the board that says PH060 OR PH050. Mine was under the name Phoebe TV Master, but there are many more names. The TV Master has a Temic 4036 tuner on it so its not an exact match to the drivers, but it works. I've tried many and only one has not caused Windows XP to reboot into recovery mode and thats the Avermedia driver. You can find the drivers here:
http://www.avermedia.com/

Now, thats not all. The TV Master software won't work with this driver since its made for the avermedia card that has a Philips tuner on it, so you have to download another program. This program is free and actually provides better video quality and more features than the card came with so, you cant loose. You can find that program here:
http://www.dscaler.com/

Good Luck
