i need a boot disk for winxp home edition v1.8 or a way to get to system restore without being able to load windows
i installed linux to a new hard drive and i cant get into windows now plz help (i messed up linux so i need windows to fix it)

When booting up hold down F8 to automatically system restore to that last successful boot.
bootdisk.com has every boot disk out there.
You can also use the XP CD and lots of distribution CDs will let you RESTORE THE BOOT TABLE from Windows, so you can boot back into Windows normally. In mandrake (in case your using it) in the install disc, go to other install options, rescue, restore boot table.

i only have linux as a boot option and i cant get it up and running but windows is installed and operational i just dont have the option to boot to it can u help

If you know anyone with Powerquest's "Partition Magic", see if you can just get "BootMagic" from them. This will install in any linux distro, and will find any operating system you have installed. It will then create a boot menu for both windows & linux. You maybe able to do a google search and locate just Boot Magic.

HOW TO: Create a Boot Disk for an NTFS or FAT Partition in Windows XP
