I have the tosh A200 internal sound fault and crashes

May 30, 2013 at 13:39:39
Specs: Windows xp
If I do manage to get it to boot if its left for a few mins it stops responding and the power indicates blue and orange flashes. Then when forced to shut down by holding the power button. The power light flashes blue and orange when I try to re boot.

I have restored and reformatted hard drive several times, even re partitioned the hard drive

The sound card is faulty and the left click on mouse don't work. But I use an external mouse anyways

Any ideas

Try going into the BIOS and disabling the sound chip.

Does it crash in Safe mode?

If for any reason you can't get into the BIOS, go to Device Manager and Disable the sound driver (under Sound, Video and Game Controllers).

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
