You can restore Windows XP on your laptop by using the manufacturer's recovery discs or doing factory recovery from the hard drive if the recovery partition is still intact.

If none of that is possible, contact your laptop manufacturer and ask them if they can supply recovery discs for it.

Most likely you're going to have to wipe the HDD & reinstall WinXP from scratch. Do you have the XP CD, drivers disc, & copies of all your programs to reinstall?

Please post the make/model/model number of your laptop.

riider's correct. You'll likely need to reformat and reinstall. The machine (from most sources) appears to be a 1.8GHz Celeron PC. While that will run Win7, you'd need lot's of RAM (>1GB) and cut down on the "wow-factor" of Win7 to run it decently. XP would be much better, especially if you're shy of the 2GB RAM mark. Gather all the drivers needed for the machine first if you decide to reinstall XP.

"Packard bell MIT-COU-A"

Close, but no cigar. It appears it's from Packard Bell EasyNote B3 series? Restart your system & tap the F11 key. There should be a recovery option unless you wiped it out when you installed Win7.

If you did wipe out the recovery partition, you'll have to come up with an XP CD, drivers disc, program discs, etc.
