Specs: windows xp
this mornig i came into see a referenced memory issue on my computer, so i shut down my programs and restarted my computer. when it started to go thru the first couple of checked it appears to look for the windows start up then i get a black screen with a very small curser up in the corner. i can only do one thing, hit control alt delete and it cycles thru again gets to the smae spot and stops. upon startup, i can hit f8 and it will take me to a boot screen asking me which of two choices i want to boot from, SCSi-0, or the cdrom. I am assuming that it wants a boot disk that i dont have. what can i do? i dont remember the exact specs but i know that i at least 2 gig of ram.

Start by entering the BIOS to make sure the hard drive is still being recognized.
