cory: some ideas;
1. scan for adware, spyware and viruses.
2. faulty RAM; download and run MemTest86 from:
http://www.memtest86.com
3. some folks claim that a memory optimization program will cause the error.
4. if still no joy; go back to "Last Known Good Configuration" by pressing the F8 key during a reboot to reach the Windows Advanced Options menu. use the arrow keys to select Last Known Good Configuration and press the Enter key.
