I was trying to delete programs on my add & remove list that said I haven't used for over a year, not knowing I needed this program for my audio. I deleted the program and folders. I was going to reinstall it but now I don't have any files, etc ,on it. It is Realtex ac'97 audio. Is there a free download for this. I've only been using a computer for 3 years and i'm 68 and still trying to learn. I'm learning, THE HARD WAY. ANY HELP??? THANKS

Like I said, I'm learning the hard way. I won't make the same mistake twice
(I hope) Thank You.

Thank you so much for your help with this, as I too deleted what I thought was something that I didn't need because it hadn't been used for so long!
I downloaded this plus something called driver detective which told me half of my drivers were out of date. Do I need to upgrade, or should I leave it until I have to get another computer, please?
Kind regards...Di
