Specs: Windows XP
I have a school laptop (lenovo mini 10). I basically limited fixing my laptop with the administrator's password. I also can't even access system restore. I created a shortcut on "My Locker" and sent it to my desktop. I then opened it in a ADOBE and it changed all my programs in start menu. Now, i'm unable to access any of my programs such as; Paint, calculator, MS ect.. I am not allowed to format seeing this isn't really my laptop. The laptop also has a tracking system in it to. Is there any helpful advice? I'm on holidays at the moment so I can't see any-one. Please Help me? Grazie

Hi there,

Select the file you want to open and then hold shift key and right click on it and select open with . Now you will see a list of programs . Select the appropriate program like for word file choose Ms word. and press ok. Before clicking ok see the checkbox below and check it if you want. This is the temporary sloution.
