Today, I went to turn on my comp and it would not start! It was like a car engine that would not turn over. I would get that starting up beep and then I could just hear it fail. I am worried that my hard drive has failed but it working perfectly the previous day. I have a lot of stuff on my hard drive and the computer is only 4 months old and still works as could as any other...except today. Do you have any suggestions? If so please reply back. If it helps I have 12GB of memory left on it but I don't see what would be wrong with that. It however has been starting up a little more now but it stills fails. What can I doe?

Please provide more information.

Do you get to the post screen? Do you receive any error messages, extented or multiple beeps? Have you added any hardware recently?

If your pc is starting then just powering off then it is not your harddrive. Probably a power problem or motherboard problem. Try another power source first (directly to the wall outlet without any surge protector).

Hello,

Did you upgrade you comp, a upgrade for mediaplayer maybe ?
Because after i install that one i had the same problem.
After i restore my comp before the date i install that one, i didn't have no problem at all ????
