Please help anything i try to open it says it can't find the file but the file is there this is what is says! Windows cannot find 'C:\Program\File.exe' Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again.
I checked my computer for viruses and it found 104 viruses how can I get rid of them??? I cannot download any program because it will tell me the same thing. Anyway solving it w/o reinstall win?

lol, You really screwed your self, good luck getting rid of 104 viruses, you have no choice but to reinstall, I would backup everything important before you do so. After you reinstall remember to install some antivirus software and when putting your backedup files back on your computer. remember to scan them for viruses.

Backup, format and reinstall Xp clean. Then goto www.grisoft.com and get the free virus scanner.
You'll never get 104 viruses off of that machine. If you could/do you won't end up with a stable pc.

How are you running a virus scan when the name of the topic is "I can't open any program!!"
What program is telling you that you now have 643 viruses??
Sandman

This is probably from a new unknown virus detected as backdoor.optixpro.12 by Symantec.
Behavior on my system:
Overwrote winampa.exe (probably randomly selected) with the virus code.
Modified the (Default) value from "%1" %* to winampa.exe "%1" %* in the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\exefile\shell\open\commandRemoval Instructions (Tested on Windows XP):
Use explorer or the Search tool to find regedit.exe.
Make a copy of regedit.exe on the desktop
Rename the copy of regedit.exe to regedit.com.
Launch the regedit.com file to start the Registry Editor.
Navigate to the following key: HKLM\Software\Classes\exefile\shell\open\command
WARNING: Do not inadvertently modify the HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\.exe subkey
Replace the current value data, with: "%1" %*
The Registry Editor will automatically enclose the value within quotation marks.
When you click OK, the (Default) value should look exactly like this: ""%1" %*"You should be able to run programs now, (Like your virus scanner) and check the registry and system files for errors. (My system.ini was hosed) Good Luck!
