I can't install an .inf file

When I try to install the following .inf file:

[version]
signature="$CHICAGO$"

[DefaultInstall]
DelReg=DelTemps
AddReg=AddTemps

HKLM ecc.. ecc..

a message appears saying that the installation has failed however the keys are changed.What could be the possible reason? Thanks
