I have 3 computers behind a Linksys router They all connect to the internet through the router. There is no ICS. One machine can get to only certain sites (XP). The other two XP and 98 SE can get to all sites. I have made the XP machines Identical in configuration. I have tried stopping system process, Disabling software, looked for startup conflicts, Reconfigured router settings, enabled and disabled all tcp settings, Fooled with netbio,and generally spent most of my time being mad I need some help. The only diffences in the systems are the network cards 3com is the machine with the problems. Yesterday I got all sites to work somehow. I dont know how But when I rebooted they stoped again. This machine is not a clean XP install it is an upgrade to pro from ME. It is a 1.4 gig Dell 256 mem.

In I.E, click Tools->Internet Options->Advanced tab->under HTTP 1.1 Settings, clear those two options and click OK. Hope this helps. Bye

Since you got all sites to work yesterday, boot your system while holding down F8, at the Windows Advanced Options Menu select Last Known Good Configuration. Hope this helps. Bye

Go into internet properties and lower your privacy setting if it is to high some web sites wont allow you in

Have you tried disabling Xps firewall?
