I can't connect to net via wireless router.

Specs: Windows XP
I just moved home and I'm trying to connect my PC to the wireless router to go online. For some reason it just connects and disconnects over and over with intervals of only a few seconds. It's not actually letting me do anything while connected either.

I've tried updating the drivers for my wireless card. Although that was a serious challenge in itself. I though drivers were meant to be easily updated. Instead I had a bunch of programs trying to hold me hostage for it.

Anyway I've still got the same problem. Could it still be the drivers?

Or could I have the wrong password? I thought since it connects it must be right? My Dad didn't know for sure what it was and I'm going on what looked most likely.

Any help is appreciated.

Open the web interface of the router from his PC & get the key from there.
