I cant access yahoo on pc/laptop but on ipad

Specs: Windows XP

Theres is an issue with my yahoo account suddenly. It's almost a 13-14 year old account and certainly very very precious to me. All old friends, family have it and I have enlisted the same as a primary account to various sites as:

- Facebook
- Apple store
- Linked in
- Youtube To name just a few..

The problem that i'm facing is something that I don't understand. I have NOT changed my password, and hence the same doesn't reflect In terms of any email received from the yahoo support center that my password has been changed. I use iPad and the same yahoo I'd is my default mailbox there too. The password of which is saved in iPad. For some reason, I cant access my yahoo account from any other device as it gives the message that my id or password is invalid.

Additionally, I can't ask for a new password to be sent on my alternate address because:-

- My hotmail account mentioned there (romana288@hotmail.com) got hacked last year while traveling when I logged in from an insecure location. It wasn't something i use very regularly, so while I made a new one (romana2881@hotmail.com), I forgot to update it as an alternate email on yahoo.

Tried the secret question no 1, yahoo didn't accept that either. Again I didn't change it and remember the answer correctly i guess. It doesn't let me go to the next question...

While I can't access my yahoo account from another device, my account is still up and running on iPad. I remember the password very correctly and certainly didn't change it( else would've at least received an email from yahoo

I have enough proof to ascertain that it's my account. I just hope to be able to reset the password and be able to access it from any other device too:

Please help... I CANNOT afford to loose this account. All old friends, family, colleagues etc only know this as my primary contact...
