Did you format the disc before burning?

Whenever I use Nero I don't need to preformat it... least-ways when simply copying one disk to another...; or for that matter when simply copying data onto a blank disk...?

Are you following the Nero routine correctly; and allowing it to finish the process? Easy to actually terminate it all before it actually burns to the disk...

You appear to say you have an EIDE CDRecorder unit (is it CD only or actually both able to read/write dvd as well?); and you have an external DVD unit (the multi-burner?).

What are you actually trying to do; copy a disk via one unit to the other; or copy data from your HD to a DVD?

And again clarify which drive is where; and what the CD unit is actually able to do?

Thanks for the help guys but...
#1 I haven't formatted the blank DVD before burning it but I thought Nero does it automatically?
#2 I am following the complete NERO burning procedure.Nero shows the disc has been burned and when I put it in Nero shows that the data has been burned(from Nero DIsk Info).
The drive is burning CDs and readin other written DVDs OK but when I insert a DVD, explorer shows a disk with 0 bytes free and 0 bytes used. Really perplexed!
