I Cannot Enable Power On Password..

CPU/Ram: P4 2.53/ 512DDR

Hi, just wondering if anyone can help me, I have tried to enable the power on password in BIOS on my laptop; it says enter a new password then confirm and i do both, but then it just does not seem to make a difference when i save the changes the comptuer just boots up as normal...

Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm guessing here, but is there a separate section in ur bios to either enable/disable this function ??
