I am still having issues with this. What would the port "address" be if my computer is connected to Port #1 on my router..I have the latest 1.46 firmware installed for my Linksys BEFSR41.
I want to forward certain ports, but I need to assign them to MY computer, by entering the correct 3 digits. Would those digits be "100" or "101"???This is for a static IP address...
Here's a picture of what I am referring to:

As stated before it does not make any difference what port you have it plugged into. That will not determine what address you are on. To forward ports you need to assign your computer a static address, with the instructions found here then in your case (going by the picture) you should assign your computer 192.168.1.101. Then if your router is set up like the picture says the ports will be forwarded. If you have more than 1 computer you should give them all static addresses if you give 1 a static address and turn off the dhcp on the router because you want to make sure that 2 computers don't get the same address.

What it is asking for, is the IP address of your computer. So if you are diretly connected, it is possible to be 101 but it could also be 100. i THINK if you are port 1 it should be 100

"the easy way to find your ip address is to go to a command prompt and type ipconfig."
-Did I *just* explain this to you, Matt?
