OK! I am sick and tired of my computer shutting off in the middle of games, ripping cds to iTunes etc.!

The computer works fine untill it has to do work! It NEVER did this before! So why now?

I scanned my pc with Trend Micros online tester for spyware or viruses and it came up with nothing!

My computer is not overheating because i have
SpeedFan running and also a house fan blowing on my computer!

REMEMBER this never happened before
-Computer shuts off when i do anything "hard"
errrr i want to kick it!

Before when??? Is there anything that may have happened in the interim,,, Lightning storm, power surge,,, Have you cleaned , IE:blown out the dust from around the cpu and inside the case and power supply?? ( need to be careful doing it ,,, Holding the fans still and blowing the dust out with the computer dissconnected from a power supply.. )

Do you have any temperature monitoring software installed?

Does your bios have the temp. monitoring of the hardware? and is there a setting that'll limit the temperature before shutting down..

Otherwise could just be that the power supply could be heating up or going bad.

Along with that the Ram could of suddenly have started to go bad..

Memtest site

I'm sure that there is a reasonable explanation for your troubles. Maybe not what you wanted to hear... But one nonetheless

Have you looked in event viewer to see if there is an event shown at the time of the shutdown??

As mentioned previously it may be a hardware problem. You do not have much RAM for trying to run games for any length of time.
quacked gave you some good advice, take some time to learn more about how it functions, and than you will feel more in control on what to do when it does start acting up.

Everest home edition will give you a temp check.
