i am sending an email to someone in my office... in that email i put text to a directory on the server (F:\Client\House\Dwgs\Plumbing)
... it doesnt come up as a hyperlink to where it will goto that folder...
when i do that w/ a URL-website... it turns blue.. and when u click it it opens IE and goes to that website... is there a way to make a link open windows explorer to a directory on a local computer?
thanks

What email client are you using? If Outlook, make sure the mail is formatted as HTML. You can then either type in the Location, or go to Insert, Hyperlink, Other and type in the location. Or, Type in a word, highlight it, then Insert, Hyperlink, Other, etc..
Life's more painless for the brainless.

Does f: work as a url? Shouldn't if be \\server\share?
Give a person a fish, they eat for a day. Suggest they internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.
