My problem has been an annoyance for over 3 months now, the promblem is that websites do not work properly. Take WebHostingTalk for example, if I type http://www.webhostingtalk.com, it does not work, but if I type only http://webhostingtalk.com, nothing. That is not the only problem, if http:// is not used on these sites, they do not work. This gets extremely annoying when using links within webpages. Any help would be great.

Hi,
Depends in the browser.
Mozilla /Netscape will usually put in the http:// and the www for you.

You can also try this:
1. Type in WebHostingTalk in IE address bar. 2. Hit shift+Enter key.
This will automatically assign the http with or without www to WebHostingTalk. Post back and let us know how this work for you.

Thanks for the hints, but I forgot to mention... Everytime I go on the internet, it is different, whether using mozilla or IE. I am pretty sure it has something to do with either the registry or a virus.
