this hp is my second pc in another room . i bought it from someone knowing it had this problem but havent been able to fix it yet.....when u turn it on it boots up to the welcome screen and just sits there....mouse is still movable.....hdd light blinks from time to time....it has a recovery partition was wondering if anyone knew how to start that hp recovery from dos or xp system restore from dos (if thats possible). or maybe something else that would work.
