Hi, i have hp pavilion zt 1000 laptop. It's 1.2 and i think it can only accept pc133 ram. I was thinking about putting 256 of pc2700 ram. Would that work although it says it takes pc133? The laptop is like 2 years old. I also upgraded my Hardrive to 5700 rpm from the standared 4200 and it works fine. Thanks.

NO you can't do that. The pc100/133 ram sticks use a different slot than pc2100/2700. Totally different configurations for the memory.
pc133 is SDRAM and pc2700 is DDR DIMM.
Install more pc133 ram if you need to upgrade your memory. Just check and it is always best to match the manufacturer that is already installed, for compatability issues. Some computers just can't use certain memory manufacturer's products.
