Trying to put the notebook back to factory settings but have no idea on how? I have no recovery CD and can't see any image partition.

For if you have an HP or Compaq computer--- Go here--- http://h18000.www1.hp.com/cpq-count... then enter in your exact Model name, and number, then tick what information you want to know, then proceed from there.
Even though you see Compaq on that page, that will work for Pavilion ZD8000 But you will need a more exact model number.
