Comment:

My laptop has been shutting off randomly all the time now when its plugged into the wall charger battery pack. Without it plugged into the wall it won't even turn on. Do I need a new battery? Also the cpu seems to get very hot so I bought a blower fan for underneath the laptop to get the hot air out but it will still turn off at random.

I'd say, it's time for a new battery.
About the temprature:
Have you tried to pull off the battery and run the laptop pluged in the wall?
Will it also get so hot?
