hi i made a previous post in January 2008 about some problems with my HP Laserjet 6P. Please see "Problem installing HP Laserjet 6p - 167468 January 4, 2008 at 18:59:28 Pacific". Although the HP Laserjet 6P works ok now with Windows XP, it only prints the first page of a document. I use Microsoft Word 2000 so I tried Microsoft's Wordpad and Microsoft's Notebook which both come free with Windows XP, and it still only prints the first page of any document, so I think it must be a software issue. As I may have said in a previous post, I have used this HP Laserject 6P printer with other Versions of Windows XP Professional on other computers and worked fine but it doesn't seem to like this Version of Windows XP Professional which is the 2002 Version. Does anyone know the reason(s) for it only printing 1 page of a document and how this could be fixed? I look forward to your responses. Thanks Danny1234

I guess, if you disable the pinter spooler in the printer drivers properties page and switch it to print direct to printer will solve the problem. Have you installed all the latest Microsoft updates? Because there was an issue that causes also other printers like HP Deskjet Family to print only one page and the rest was blank. Also printing multiple copies of a document didn't work. So installing the latest updates for your Windows and Office should solve the problem.

hi paulsep thanks for your response. i just disabled spooling and selected "print directly to printer" and it didn't work. i just printed the first page. I have the latest windows updates too. Danny1234
