Hp laptop just died

HP Pavilion zd 7140us Last night it just shut down, just went blank. The pwer adapteris OK I evn have access to another power adapter. When I plug in the power the lights flash on the Power Button, volume buttons and Wifi, the light that indicates that the laptop is running AC power stays on untill i press the power button..... then nothing. I have tred both power supplies and two differant batteries, I have removed the ram but no differance.
