HP keeps on rebooting

Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Professional, 2.21 GHz / 511 MB
So It says HP Invent on the blue screen then asks me
to run windows xp media center edition or microsoft
windows recovery console and then asks me to start
up with safe modes or normally and then boots and
starts all over again and again and again.

Now I started it up with disable automatic restart on system failure and this is what it said:

A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Disable or uninstall any anti-virus, disk degragmentation or backup utilities. Check your hard drive configuration, and check for any updated drivers. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption and then restart your computer.

... tap "F8" key @ bootup select "safe mode with command prompt" and type:

CHKDSK /R [press enter]

OR ..... CHKDSK /P
