i have a radeon 9600 series video card and recently when i play online games, once i log on to the game, the screen will randomly shut off but i still hear music. I get a no signal on my screen and have to reboot to get it back. I've been looking in these forums and i've seen a post like mine and people said that the comp or monitor is in sleep mode and that they would have to turn sleep mode off. if there is another fix then please share but if not, then how do you turn sleep mode off? is it in the video card options, bios, or windows itself? Thanx in advance.
P.S. you can chuch the idea of me upgrading the card :)

to simply turn off sleep mode right click on the desktop, choose display properties choose screen saver choose power
There should be your sleep options,,
but if you are playing a game, I would suspect there is a deeper issue,, since game play involves moving the mouse. and moving the mouse keeps the computer from sleeping
