I made a backup from menu of a DOS6.22 software. Now I've installed this software in a Windows XP and tried to restore the backed up files. The message from the software is: missing restore.com or restore.exe in path.
How can I do this?

You cannot use DOS commands in Xp, DOS does not exist in Xp, only a command prompt.

Bloody hell no M$-DOS in the NT family of Operating Systems, after 15 years of IBM OS/2 and Windows NT, people will not get it into their heads M$-DOS is an emulation, when will they read previous posts on this subject it is getting boring.

To see how M$-DOS works or rather does not work in NT look at this NT4 article, which applies also to W2K and XP:
