how to use xplite v1.9

need to delete computer windows components no longer needed and its my only hope of getting up space for the moment.
I heard of xplite v1.9 but does anyoned know if I need to upgrade to use it or if there more programs to use to delete hidden software.
i've tride nlite and no use. can someone help
